The McArdle School for Early Autism Intervention

The McArdle School for Early Autism Intervention was founded in 2015 by the McArdle Family to help younger children living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (“ASD”). The McArdle’s have two daughters that are on the spectrum and they saw a need for a school offering support to children at as early an age as possible. The McArdle School was founded on one basic principal: to offer a year-round early intervention classroom to children with autism by taking a therapeutic approach to education.

The McArdle School will introduce therapies such as Applied Behavioral Analysis, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Nutrition in order to help children with autism reach their full potential. It is proven time and again that children who are introduced to these kinds of therapies at as early an age as possible have a significantly better chance to live a more complete and full life. The McArdle School will offer these therapies from on staff therapists and special education teachers to steer the curriculum to each student’s abilities. Parents, educators, and therapists will work hand-in-hand to build bright futures for all of our students.

The McArdle School recognizes that children living with ASD thrive on consistency and therefore the school will be open year round. We will also offer additional summer, weekend, and school break programs to children with ASD to help cope with the breaks that their schools might have.
