DESCRIPTION:Join Chesapeake Charities on Friday\, July 17 for a unique networking event.   \nWe’ll meet from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on the deck at Shipwrecked\, the new Mini Mall on Route 50  in Grasonville. \nBring your lunch or line up for delicious wraps and sandwiches at It’s The Pits (under $10.) \nThis quick and valuable peer-to-peer gathering will give you the opportunity to share your challenges\, experiences and ideas with other nonprofit leaders. And\, it’s free of charge! \nLinda Kohler\, Chesapeake Charities Executive Director\, will kick off the dialogue at noon with tips on incorporating character into your program\, and then we’ll open up the session to address your most pressing concerns. \nTerry Ober\, Shipwrecked’s owner and director of the RESET Program\, has a generous offer for all who attend. \nBring along your organization’s banners\, signs\, brochures and flyers to be displayed at Shipwrecked for the entire weekend! The deck area at Shipwrecked is devoted to supporting nonprofit organizations\, so your materials will be seen by all of the weekend shoppers. In addition\, Shipwrecked has a permanent display area for brochures and flyers from local charities. \nPlease register so we can get a headcount. \n
